Business Pain Defined

Every company has business pain, but the pain does not necessarily mean that they have a success problem. Pain can be anything from a minor dent, as when a marketing event does not produce the anticipated results, to a major process issue, as when reporting is not accurate. As you set out to find your customers business pain, you should remember that you are not necessarily looking for huge issues, rather you are looking for issues that hurt the profitability of the company.

For example, I once worked with a company that sold calculators. This company had a process in place that automatically ordered more calculators when the computer showed only one left in stock. On one occasion they were getting rid of old stock and ordering newer models for sale. When the old stock's level hit one, the order system automatically sent a P.O. to accounting for ordering fifty more of that model. Sometimes the accounting department would catch the error and other times it went through. It became a real annoyance to send back-orders they did not need. The computer system was a business pain.

Instead of fixing the system, they relied on the accounting department to make the adjustments. When the suppliers started to get annoyed, they then recognized this as something that needed to be fixed. Sometimes it takes an organization a long time to admit that they have a business pain that needs to be rectified. More often than not, they will not know that they have the pain, they will only feel a dull ache.

All the minor aches of a company should be recorded somewhere on your power page. These are the ones that you are not likely to put into a CRM system, but they are ones that can give you leverage if you have a simple solution.

Bedroom Benches - Versatility and Elegance in Your Bedroom

It is often the case that when one mentions bedroom furniture our minds usually go to the typical beds and mattresses, perhaps the occasional armoire or bedside table. And while they most certainly comprise the biggest aspect of one's bedroom they are certainly not the only pieces of bedroom furniture worth paying attention to.

Certainly one needs a bed in which to sleep, a closet for storing clothes, a nightstand for those books and lamp. However, we have found that the most overlooked and yet so functional and inviting piece of bedroom furniture is in fact the bedroom bench.

Not only can a bedroom bench offer a combination of functions including extra sitting space, additional storage space for those extra blankets one never seems to know what to do with, a convenient place to rest that breakfast tray for those special occasions it also adds a wonderful tone and elegance to any bedroom. Bedroom benches simply sit wonderfully next to your dresser or by the end of your bed offering versatility and a sense of luxury.

A few factors should be taken into account when considering purchasing a bedroom bench. The most crucial of course is to take into account how large your bedroom space is. You don't want to purchase a bedroom bench that is either too small or too large for the space that is to accommodate it. In the first scenario you will end up with a bench that will not only get lost amongst the rest of your bedroom furniture but it most probably won't be practical enough or meet your demands. Choose a bedroom bench that is too large and it will not be in proportion with the rest of your furniture while giving the sense of a cluttered, congested and asphyxiating space. And that is the last thing you want your bedroom to feel like given it's the most vital room in terms of seeking relaxation and providing for you an oasis of tranquility.

Other important deciding factors when choosing a bedroom bench are its functionality and of course the style of bench you require to complement the existing furniture in your bedroom. Bear in mind that bedroom benches come in a variety of styles and serve different functions. There are simple styled benches that are perfect for just sitting or resting a few garments on them. Should you require additional storage space then you need to invest in a wonderful storage bedroom bench or chest that will help keep your bedroom orderly and neat.

As for the look of your new bedroom bench it helps to keep in mind the current decor of your bedroom. Ideally you want something to complement your existing furniture therefore creating harmony and a wonderful ambience to your room. Bedroom benches come in such a huge choice of materials, colors and tones so it should not be long before you too are enjoying the wonderful presence of your new piece of bedroom furniture.
